Kitchen Planning Tips
Work Triangle
The distance between your sink, refrigerator, and stove should total between 12-26 feet. This creates an efficient cooking workflow.
Clearance Requirements
Maintain at least 42" of clearance between parallel countertops or between a counter and island. This allows for comfortable movement and opening of appliances.
Counter Depth
Standard counter depth is 24-25 inches. Ensure at least 15 inches of counter space on one side of the sink and 24 inches on the other for food prep.
